About Us
As the most innovative equine nutrition company in the world, International Horse Vets, LLC (IHV) is committed to producing high-quality equine supplement products and providing first-class customer service. Understanding the equine's nutritional requirements and the benefits of essential nutrients, IHV continues to develop, manufacture and distribute premier equine supplement products, such as Necessity. Horse owners seeking to enhance the performance of their horse and the effectiveness of their feed program will benefit from the products and services IHV offers to the horse industry.

One thing that certainly separates International Horse Vets from other equine supplement companies is that we make all of our own products.  This is very rare in our industry as out sourcing is a very common practice.  Not only do we make our own products but we continualy make fresh product.  Unlike other companies who carry inventory for months, we make fresh product weekly.  This guarantees that the ingredients in every product is as fresh as possible.  Our plant (pictured left) is ran by our full time plant manager David Jimenez.  David was just awarded the 2004 Plant Manager of the Year.  Between our parent and sister companies, we have five plants throughout the country so this is a great honor and achievement by David.  We promise you with the leadership of David, you are getting the highest quality supplements possible in our industry.

Along with David Jimenez (pictured), IHV has some of the industries best leaders involved in the day-to-day management of our company.  The IHV management team has over 55 years of experience in the liquid equine supplement business. The President of IHV, Kenneth P. Munsch, was recently elected as a Board Member of the AFIA (American Feed Industry Association).  The AFIA closely monitors and influences state and federal legislative and regulatory actions on key industry issues.  The AFIA is the agricultural voice in Washington D.C. so they play a major role in our industry.  The parent company of IHV is Cattleman's Choice Loomix, LLC (CCL). The roots of Loomix can be traced back to the early 1950's. CCL's product line, Loomix®, is a leader in the liquid supplement business Home Office of Cattleman's Choice Loomix, LLC and International Horse Vets, LLC

Another thing that separates International Horse Vets, LLC from other supplement companies is our customer service.  Tracey Brose is the newest member of International Horse Vets, LLC Team.  Her top priority is providing our customers and dealers the best customer service possible.  Tracey has been a proud Necessity and Cellarator user for nearly a year.  Tracey has seen wonderful results from the products and enjoys visiting with others about the benefits of the products.

The headquarter's for International Horse Vets is in Johnstown, Colorado.  This agricultural community is a perfect backdrop for our company.  Our home office (pictured right) dates back to the late 1870's.  The home office is a local landmark as it served as an original Pony Express Station before being converted to a home.  The grounds at the home office, or 'The Ranch' as we like to call it, includes a horse stable, a conference room, a mother-in-law home, the IHV Plant, a beautiful garden, a wonderful statue fountain, an equine riding area and 2 acres of open pasture.  We are located only three miles east of Interstate 25 between Denver and Fort Collins.  If you are ever in the area, please stop by as we would love to give you a tour of our home office.  Also, if you ever need an overnight resting place, we have 4 stalls in our stable and some open pasture.  We welcome this space to any of our customers!

IHV's mission is to continually produce innovative equine supplement products through comprehensive research and development, which increase the effectiveness of the horse owner's feed program and improve the condition of the horse, while providing first-class customer service.
